The National TVET Learning Management System (LMS) is an e-learning platform where TVET students come to learn whenever they cannot attend classes physically. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that we in the TVET education must find ways make learning continue online. Several TVET programmes are hands-on and require practical learning methods. However, there are some components of TVET programmes that could be taught and learnt via e-learning.
This platform therefore focuses on presenting the cognitive aspects of TVET programmes and assessments that could be conducted online so that TVET programmes can continue taking place even in cases where learning face to face is not possible.
This platform is under the management of the Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC) and the National TVET LMS is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, the TVET Authority (TVETA) and all the TVET Stakeholders in Kenya.
